The Ides of May are Upon Us!

Well, this is my personal teaching blog. This is where I rant, post cool stuff, and rant some more. Please do not think that this blog is merely for my complaining pleasure. I rant about the good and the bad . . . but mostly the good! 

I think many of us this time of year are starting to get, antsy? I mean, summer is like two weeks away and I don't even want to think about teaching tomorrow. Did I catch senioritis from one of my students? Can a first year teacher catch senioritis? It's more like summeritis, really. I don't know why I lie to myself. Lord knows after two weeks I'm teaching three weeks of graphic design during the summer. I can't complain though. I love being in the classroom and extra cash doesn't hurt. The best part? After summer school I'm headed for the 2014 National Charter Schools Conference in lovely Las Vegas, NV. 

VEGAS, people!

Pools, and slots, and food, and POOLS.

I'm really looking forward to laying around in the sun, okay. Oh and going to the conference! So many cool things to learn.
